Where to Start

well....I am not good at updated our blog! First of all THANKS TO MY WONDERFUL SISTER for updating my blog so we now what a cute one! We have been up to a lot of things this summer! Kenny has been working on getting his real estate license, so thats exciting! If you know anyone who wants to buy a house or is looking he loves finding great houses! He is taking his test next week hopefully so lets keep our fingers crossed. We love summer and the warm weather! We love being able to go swimming, up to the lake and just having fun time with the family! We went to the Lake for Memorial Day and Todd's Birthday. We went to the lake for the 4th of July and are on our way there for Dad and Bonnie's birthday this weekend! When we are at the lake we stay pretty busy! We have had a little fun barbeque with Kenny's family on their new firepit, yum hot dogs and marshmallows :)


We also celebrated National Doughnut Day this same night as the barbeque! (wow bad eating day :))
We were able to go to the arts festival which was pretty fun! I have a sprained ankle so walking around the festival was interesting but oh well :)





We have been swimming quite a bit which is always fun! One of our favorite things about summer is SNOW SHACK! We absolutely love it!!! We LOVE the Bear Lake Snow Shack :) It is the best, we were the first customers of the year so yes we got a free one! Kenny Lisa and I also got free necklaces as well!!! Thanks lady at snow shack! There are cool flowers at snow shack too!!!










Thanks to John (My father in law) who not only got us tickets to the arts festival but also to the aquarium, not just one time tickets but season passes. We went and enjoyed watching the penguins which was very fun!






This is an update of what has been going on and I am really going to start trying to update more!

Family & Birthdays

This month is filled with birthdays in my family and I want to start this post by wishing my wonderful/amazing sister a happy birthday TODAY!! My brother who is also wonderful will be celebrating his birthday next Thursday the 29th. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACLYN & BART! I love you both tons! I have a wonderful family who I love and appreciate. My birthday was last week and it was very fun to have everyone together for dinner and cake and ice cream! I am also very grateful for Kenny's family, I am very lucky that our families get along and everyone could come to our place for cake and ice cream! For my birthday Kenny redid our Kitchen for me! He painted all the cabinets white, put new hardware on all of them and tore out the countertops and replaced them all by himself. (he fired me) :) I had a wonderful birthday and was very spoiled! Kenny gave the prettiest flowers EVER! I got a new camera and I LOVE That too :) I want to say thanks to KENNY my wonderful, amazing, very talented, handy man husband who I LOVE more than anything in this world, my Mom and Dad whom I appreciate more than they will ever know! My siblings and their families who I love all so very much! and Kennys family who I also love and appreciate! I am one lucky girl!!! UPDATE

So this post is for Meygen! She was just telling me I dont blog enough so here ya go Meygen! So since my last blog we got married, went on our honeymoon and now we have been married for 2 months! its been so fun, exciting and amazing!! We went on a cruise for our honeymoon, the stops were: Jamaica, Haiti, Grand Caymen and Cozumel. Our ship was the Liberty of the Seas which was huge!!!
Jamaica-
In Jamaica we went to the Coyaba Gardens and climbed Dunns River Falls. It was sooo much fun to climb the falls, a little scary because I slipped a couple times but we made it and it was so much fun!! :) and did a lil shopping :)
Haiti-
In Haiti we just kinda layed on the beach and hung out, walked around and had to make sure you werent making eye contact with anyone in the shops :) Haiti was a very pretty place and we got some awesome pictures there. and did a lil shopping :)
Grand Caymen-
In Grand Caymen we went and swam with the sting rays! This was such a fun experience. We bought an underwater camera and it was so fun to touch and swim with lots of sting rays! Luckily we didnt get killed like the Crocodile Hunter! :(
Cozumel-
Cozumel has the prettiest water you can imagine! We went snorkeling there. We took a boat about an hr away to a big coral and snorkeled. Im going to be honest I was scared there would be sharks. right before we got to the location I looked out the front of the boat and thought to my self wow that looks like a fin. Kenny just laughed and said I was being silly, then about 5 mins later he was looking out the back of the boat and saw the same thing. Right then the boat stopped and said K lets jump off! AHHHH We did it though and it was so so much fun! so pretty, we saw a turtle, a lot of fish, the coral reef, sting ray, jelly fish, baracuda etc.


The last day of our cruise I got sick and it was miserable and I felt bad that it was the last day and I just wanted to sleep, but being the sweetheart that he is Kenny just layed on the bed with me pretty much the whole day. I am still fighting the cold actually. Well this is a long post and I will post some pictures when I get on a computer that has my pictures on it.

WEDDING PLANS!

So we have been really busy planning the wedding! It can be very frustrating but very fun too!!! We got our engagements back awhile ago and I will post some below. We have pretty much finished everything except the little things! I tried on my dress today and it just needs to be hemmed :) which was a good feeling because I haven't been eating healthy so I was worried it wouldn't zip up...GOOD NEWS! IT DID :) We are getting very excited 49 days! We made a paper chain count down and its getting short enough for Kenny to walk under! :) ( I could walk under about 7 links ago!) Thats pretty much what we have been doing since the last post. We are headed to Bear Lake this weekend and cant wait to get out on the lake and have some FUN! Lets hope its warm! We hope that everyone has a wonderful and safe 4th of July!

WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!!!

So a lot has happened since I last blogged...Kenny proposed to me and I said YES!!! This all happened on April 18th (i know a long time ago) . We have been super busy with doing wedding plans! We have decided to have the wedding on AUGUST 20, 2009. This is a special day since my Grandparents got married on that way back in 1940! I love them both so very much and miss them tons, so we wanted to get married on the same day since their marriage was so wonderful and they loved each other so much!
So how did Kenny do it?! We were shopping at the mall then we were walking out since we were done shopping, there was a limo waiting for us. So we got in and went to a restaurant called Lugano's it was really good. Then we went to "this is the place monument" It was perfect timing since the sun was setting, also this was special for us since it also overlooks the zoo which was our first date! :) It was perfect and I am so so so lucky to have gotten such an AMAZING man!!! We are so so so excited to start a life together!!! :) Here are some pictures of us from the engagement night, also we have already went and had our engagement pics taken so as soon as we get them I will post them.
